Races in Munster this weekend....Fri 17th - Sun 19th July

There are no less than 4 races in 3 counties on offer this weekend in Munster.

Friday 17th....
Cork.......The main race is the Donoughmore 7 mile which is about 15 miles to the North-West of Cork City. As well as Cork runners, this might be of interest to anyone in Kerry or Limerick as well. More details on the Running in Cork website.

Kilkenny....Morris Oil Piltown 10k near Carrick On Suir, SE Tipperary. Details.........."All roads lead to Piltown this Friday, July 17th, for the third race in this year's Outfield Sports/Asics Three Counties Challenge- the Morris Oil 10km race. Prizes will be on offer for all the usual categories and, with a large field expected, competition should be intense. Registration will be from 6:00pm in the GAA Complex across the road from Kildalton College and the race will start inside the gates of the college at 7:30pm. The race will follow the same scenic route as last year with the finish on the college grounds."

Sunday 19th....
Cork.........There is a new 5km road race in Banteer, NW Cork starting at 3:30pm.

Kerry.....There is a 10km Charity Fun Run in Ballydavid near Dingle starting at 3pm. More details on this website.
