The race headquarters for the race is the LIT Campus which is on the N24 road which runs around to the north of the town of Clonmel itself.

Course.........The race starts on the main road about 1 km west of the LIT Campus. The finish line is located at the campus.

The first 2.5 miles of the race are a steady uphill pull. In terms of difficulty, it's not too serious especially coming so early in the race but it's a pull all the same so expect to lose a bit time here.
After this, the road drops slowly before a bit of a climb again around the 5 mile mark. From here, it's downhill to the River Suir and the road stays flat as it follows the river east to Clonmel.

From the centre of the town, there is a climb back up to the roundabout just after 11 miles and then, it's a fast run all of the ways to the finish.

Certainly not the flattest of courses but the hills aren't that bad either. Expect to set a reasonable time but it may not be as fast as say a flat course.
