Difficult to understand the relatively low marathon numbers.

Well run, keenly priced (€35 Full, €25 Half), number pickup on the morning right up to start time (which is important for someone like me coming from 1.5 hours away), nice challenging scenic course, plenty of water on a warm day and a fine spread afterwards and held on a Saturday making it easier for anyone who may want to make a weekend of it.

Thumbs up.

Well organised and very well marshalled. The websire needs overhaul/ refering to 2013 even today after the race. Great atmosohere after the half mara but poor enough for the full as a lot of the crowd had gone. More masseurs too please spent an hour queuing for the guy who was there. Told him two areas were sore n he done everywhere bar those two - hip flexors and medial ligament. More advertising is the key n people like me to spread the word. Will be back. :-)

Nice route and well organised event. Price is excellent and food at the finish line very nice.
Maybe bag drop at the finish line for next year (with dry clothes)?
