Clare...Results of the Shannon Airport 5k Runway Night Race - Fri 4th July 2014

This unique race held on the runway of Shannon Airport at night attracted a field of 1185 runners. 54.2 of the field were women.

very enjoyable; but the kilometres should be marked on a few bill boards easy to do, it makes it easier when you can see the distance you have run and the distance left as no body on the runway could answering correctly when asked only telling you there was a kilometre left when there was two or more, also good music at the end that could be heard in the distance like the clare 10k is a great idea for finishing it really creates an athmosphere at the end as i felt there wasnt any, no need for MR motivater at the having him at the begining was more than enough to listen to, thank you just a few from a few of us seasoned runners.
