Kerry...Results of the Castleisland 10 mile & 5k race - Sun 17th May 2015

A total of 322 runners took part in this event organised by An Ríocht AC...127 in the 10 mile race and 195 in the 5km.

Is it the norm for someone in the 40 age group running this time.
Also from what i have heard the course is challenging.
Someone in this age group running such a time would surely have a history over the distance as a senior and set some near sub 51min 10 mile times or even sub 32.30 10k as a senior.
Hope for us old lads yet :-) getting faster as we get older....defying the aging process on speed and endurance.
