There are only 2 road races in Munster this week. The first one up is the Ardmore 5 Mile road race on Friday evening at 7:30pm. This is a really nice area and is of course perhaps better known for it's very distinctive Round Tower. Here is some additional info about the race from the West Waterford AC website... An Tobar-Ardmore 5 final race in Ger Wyley Sports/Nike summer series.Entries-changing -showers Ardmore G.A.A. club house. Teas and sandwiches plus presentation of race prizes and overall series presentation at An Tobar. Race starts 7.30 pm, entry fee 8 euro.
Ardmore is just off the N25 Cork to Waterford road and is located just East of Youghal.
