Its always a pleasure to travel down to Dungarvan to support West Waterford AC. They even had the weather sorted ! 3 miles west of Dungarvan and the mist and rain was horrible - bright sunshine for the race. Hadn't run this route before- very fair course- quite good i'd say if you were after a PB. The surface on the country roads were excellent, and the last 1.5 miles joined back onto the main Cork road, which offered both an excellent surface, and allowed us all to showcase our'talents' to the passing public. All and all, most enjoyable. Its a great town to come to for a race. Well worth the hours or so journey from Cork.
