Waterford...Results of the Butlerstown 10k road race - Fri 20th Apr 2012


This 10k road race in Butlerstown just outside Waterford City was the second race in the Ger Wyley Sports Summer Race Series. It attracted a field of 200 runners and the mens race was won by Philip Harty of Donore AC in a time of 31:47. The womens race was won by Angela McCann of Clonmel AC in a time of 36:44.

ENTRY TO THE SUMMER SERIES
Please note that entry to the summer series is separate to that of the individual races. It’s an extra 7 Euros to join the series and you may join the series at any of the races up to and including the Dromana race which is the deadline for doing so.  When you enter the series, you must do 6 of the ten races and you will automatically qualify for a 25 euro Ger Wyley Sports/Nike voucher. New for this year is the 10 from 10 challenge, for full details read below,

Can you complete the full Ger Wyley Sports/Nike summer series of 10 races? If yes is your answer you could be one of two people who will “run” away with a brand new pair of Nike Pegasus runners for doing so. At the final night in Ardmore of this years series all those Female’s and Male’s who have completed all of the 10 race programme will be eligible to be entered for a draw for two pairs of Nike Pegasus runners kindly donated by our sponsors Ger Wyley Sports and Nike. One draw will take place among all the males eligible and another for all the Females Eligible, all you have to do is run the 10 from 10.
