Located in South Clare, the town of Sixmilebridge is only a 20 minute drive from Limerick City. It is also ideally located for any runners in the towns of Shannon, Ennis and of course with the new tunnel, anyone in the county of Limerick itself.

Directions...
If you are coming from the direction of Limerick, take a left at the main crossroads in the town (see pic)...over the small bridge...and then right (see pic). The GAA grounds are just up this road.

Course...
The race starts and finishes outside the GAA grounds in the village. The first mile is a gradual climb before it flattens out and there is plenty of running on flat country roads to the village of Kilmurry. As you turn for home, you soon pass the 15th Century Mountcashel Castle. Near the 5 mile mark, you turn off right onto a narrower and quieter country road which has one or two pulls. As you approach the 6 mile mark, you have a very fast downhill finish to the 10k mark.
