The 3rd race of 7 in the Ballyhoura Limerick Series is coming up on Friday, the 26th of July with the Kilteely 7 km road race. Please note that this is a change from the usual 5 mile course of previous years. The 7 km race will actually start and finish in the village of Kilteely itself and is not near the old course.
Kilteely is in the east of County Limerick near the border with Tipperary. It is easily reached via Pallas Green on the N24 Limerick-Tipperary road or from the south via Hospital.
The entry fee is €10 and the race itself starts at 8pm. Walkers can enter for €5 and they may have a separate start time. Race entries will be taken at the Communtiy Centre just across the road from the national school. Post race refreshments and prize giving in Ahern's pub nearby.
Directions, maps, photos and a full preview of the course can be seen HERE
