Report from Clonmel AC....The 4th race of the Barlo Motor Group sponsored 4K took place in ideal conditions. Competition was very good with the top three athletes finishing as 1st Declan Curley 14:57, 2nd Claire Annan 15:11 and 3rd Paudie O Keeffe 15:20. The prize winners tonight were Mark Corcoran 10th in 15:44, Robert Dower 22nd in 16:44, Jimmy Lonergan 32nd in 17:18, Andy Moloney 50th in 18:53, Patrick O Gorman 60th in 19:44 and the winner of a new car for the week from the Barlo Motor Group, 70th Judy Newman 20:45, Barbara o Reilly 82nd 21:55, Thomas Shanahan 92nd 23:11, Paula Kennedy 105th in 24:43 and Jackie Hickey 110th in 25:29.
The Club would like to thank the Brothers of Charity for the use of their carpark as our race headquarters and thanks to all our stewards who ensured that the whole event was a great success.
On Wednesday 18th February we will have our 4K charity Run and this year the worthy Charity will be the Irish Pilgrimage Trust and this is a Charitable organisation who take approx 500 children with special needs to Lourdes for a week at Easter, a very worthy cause and well worth supporting on Wednesday 18th February as all monies donated on that night will go to this worthy cause.
