Notice...MMRA Cratloe Woods Trail Run in Co.Clare - Sun 28th Jan 2018
This is a 9k run weaving through the trees in Cratloe Woods, about halfway between Limerick and Shannon and it’s an ideal introduction to trail running for newcomers.
From the MMRA....There's a 9k run for adults, a 3k run for Juniors (age 10 - 16), and an accompanied kiddies run for under 10s. If you’re bringing the whole family, there's a lovely little playground nestled in the trees at the forest entrance and there’ll be tea and sandwiches just down the road in the village afterwards.
Adults: Starts at 11:00 ENTRY €5
Juniors: Starts at 10:30 ENTRY €5
Kiddies: Starts at 10:30 ENTRY FREE
The route brings you around the forest on the network of criss-crossing tracks and trails.
In order to be eligible to run, please note that your ONE-OFF ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE (€10) MUST BE PAID ONLINE IN ADVANCE. This applies to adults and juniors. U10s do not need to be registered.
You can sign-in for the run between 10:00am and 10:45am to ensure the adult race starts on time. Juniors should sign in before 10:20. For more information, go to https://www.imra.ie/events/details/id/1534/
The entrance to the woods is just off the N18, about 10-15 minutes on the Ennis side of Limerick. See Google Maps Link or location map below:
This is the second race of the 2018 Munster Winter/Spring League, of which there are 10 races across Munster on Sunday mornings between January and April.
