Notice: Run Kilkee Half-Marathon & 10k - Sat 26th July 2025

The popular Run Kilkee Half-Marathon & 10k is coming up this year on Saturday 26th July 2025.

This is the largest half-marathon in Co Clare and as can be see from the chart below, both the 10k and half are increasing in popularity as more people return year after year and more people find out about the event.

Kilkee is located in the south-west of Co Clare at the foot of the Loop Head peninsula. Both the 10k and Half-Marathon courses are out and back courses and hug the coastline offering some spectacular views.

Even though the participants are running on the same section of road on the way back, they arere facing a different direction which offers different views.

It must be up there as one of the most scenic events on the running calendar. It just needs a bit of sunshine to make it a remarkable outing.

The advantage of an event like this is that with so many runners and traffic management in place, there is no need to worry about cars on the course.

The Half-Marathon starts at 9am while the 10k starts at 12:30pm.
