This is one of the fastest 5k courses in Munster as it's pretty much dead flat with long straight sections.

From the organisers... "BK5K is an ideal personal best season opener building towards our 40th running of the Coillte 10km 9 weeks later. Coillte 10km is on the first Wednesday in July at 8pm."
The 5k race will be held in the small village of Dundrum which is located about 9 miles / 14kms to the NW of Cashel.
