Races in Munster this weekend...Wed 18th to Sun 22nd Aug 2010

Wednesday 18 August
Cork......The Cork BHAA are holiding the annual Army/Navy 5 Mile road race at 7.30pm
Entry fee €5/€8 at the Naval Base, Haulbowline.
Take the N28 Carrigaline / Ringaskiddy road.

Friday 20 August
Tipperary......There's the Nenagh 4 Mile at 7pm
Organized by Nenagh Triathlon & Nenagh Olympic.
Entry fee €10 at the GAA Complex

Waterford......
There is a 5 Mile road race at Ballinameela at 7.30pm
Organized by West Waterford AC, in association with Ballinameela GAA club
Also a 3 Mile sponsored walk.
Entry fee €8 at Ballinameela Community Centre

Limerick......The Kilteely Festival 5 Mile is at 8pm
This will be race 6 in the Ballyhoura ACTIVE Summer Series 2010.
Entry fee: €10 runners, €5 walkers.

Sunday 22 August
Wexford......There's the Oylegate Half-Marathon and Fun Run Walk at 10am
Entry fee: €25 for runners and €10 for walkers.

There's The County Tipperary 10 mile in Poulmucka it's for Tipp registered athletes but is open to guests if they want to run it, tis free but there wont be any prizes but there will be sandwiches and tea after & there's medals for the first 3 tipp men and women and the same in the team so if your looking for a 10 mile to run try poulmucka there's usually a modest crowd of 70 odd athletes competing in it.
