Clare...Sat 12th July...Bunratty 10km Fun Run

This fun run starts in Bunratty, just off the N18 Limerick to Ennis/Shannon road, at 3pm. It was originally supposed to be on Sunday but it has now been changed to Saturday. The entry fee is €20 with all funds going to Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children Crumlin. An application form for the race can be found HERE.

"First thing to note is that its been changed from the 13th to the 12th. Currently, they have no application forms. (I have one, so could get a copy to anybody who wants one) You can register before hand, drop the money (€20) and form into reception in the Shannon Shamrock, or you can register on the day (not too sure about the details for this) but either way you wont get your number until the day. This is the route I was given...... Starts on the Lower Road (This is the road with the car park for the castle)Continues to deerpark on the sixmilebridge road (Crows petrol station)Turn left heading towards Shannon, on the Sixmilebridge roadContinue towards ShannonBefore the flyover, turn right and head down the hill to the Co Op Continue to the Drumline turn offTurn right on to the drumline roadFollow the Drumline road to the T junction and turn rightThis will bring you back on to the junction of Sixmilebridge roadGo straight across the Sixmilebridge road junction, onto hill roadThis will bring you to the back of the Shannon Shamrock Hotel, were the run ends."
