This 10 km road race take place in the small village of Beaufort which is just a few kms to the West of Killarney. The numbers are usually pretty small yet by all accounts, it is supposed to be a really nice race. The route is along nice quiet country roads with the mighty MacGillcuddys Reeks providing a backdrop to the south.How to get there........if you are coming from the Cork direction, take the relief road around Killarney and take the N72 for Killorglin. After Fossa, pass the turn off left for Gap of Dunloe and take the next left.
