Races in Munster this weekend...Fri 16th to Sun 18th July 2010

Friday 16th July
Kilkenny......The Morris Oil Piltown 10k is at 7:30pm
This is r
ace 3 of the Outfield Sports Three Counties Challenge.
Entry fee €10 and Chip timing will be used. You can pre-enter for this race.

Piltown is a little east of Carrick-on-Suir, on the R698, just off the N24.
Organized by Carrick-on-Suir AC.

Cork......The 28th annual
Donoughmore 7 Mile at 8pm
Entry €10 at the Community Centre, Stuake.
Tee-shirt for all finishers.
Also 7 Mile non-competitive walk at 7pm -Entry fee €5
One mile Fun Run at 7.30pm - Entry fee €3
Donoughmore is about 15 Miles north-west of Cork City.

Saturday 17th July
Kerry......The Maxi Marathon Killarney is a 15 Mile race that starts at 8am
Note: This is a point-to-point race, run over the R568 and N71 Sneem to Killarney Road.
Entry fee €50, which is pretty steep.
You can register online for this race.
Entry fee includes Bus from Muckross House, Killarney to start line, but you must be there by 6.30am.
The race will start just beyond Molls Gap and will finish in the grounds of Muckross House.

M9 Danesfort-Paulstown Half-Marathon and 10km run at 6.30pm.

Also 10km Fun Event Run/Walk/Cycle.
Separate coures for each.
Entry fee €5 for children (incl goodie bag); €10 for 10km race; €20 for Half Marathon
in aid of Danesfort GAA Development Fund.

Cork......Youghal 4 Mile Road Race at 2pm.
Entry fee €10 from 12noon at Farrells, Summerfield Bar, western outskirts of Youghal.
All proceeds to Marymount Hospice.
