Tipperary...Carrick-on-Suir Winter League - 3rd Jan to 14th Feb 2012

Carrick Road Runners AC have resumed their winter league after the Christmas break. Each race will start at 7pm in the grounds of Kildalton College which is in Pilltown, a few kms to the east of Carrick-on-Suir. This league is run over a very safe and well-lit five kilometre route within the college grounds. It affords seasoned runners, novices or beginners the ideal opportunity to meet and train at a time of year when it can be difficult to consistently train on the road due to the shortened hours of daylight.

 The SuperValu Winter League returns after a short break for Christmas on Tuesday, January 3rd 2012 at Kildalton College, Piltown. The clock will start at 7pm sharp with runners starting at two-minute intervals based on their times over the course to date. Remember to bring the number you received at registration and to wear a high-viz vest while running. It is not too late to join this year's league which will continue every Tuesday evening for the next few weeks until Tuesday, the 14th of February. This weekly run is ideal for anyone who has resolved to get fit for 2012 and will be followed by the club's very popular Fit for Life programme - so dust off the runners and come along to Kildalton any Tuesday evening.  For further information on the League, contact James (086-2544150) or Mark (086-1608165). Directions....The winter league takes place in Kildalton College which is in Pilltown, about 5 kms to the east of Carrick-on-Suir and just off the N24 Waterford road...
