Another race from the Kingdom last month and another drop in numbers. Between the 5k and 10k races, a total of 292 runners turned out which is very good for a race in Kerry. However, the numbers were down 24% on 2014.
The chart above shows the story for the last few year. Nice growth in 2012. Introduction of a 5k in 2013 which boosted overall numbers without taking from the 10k. Big jump in 5k numbers in 2014...and in 2015, a drop in both the 5k and 10k numbers. Reason?

I wouldnt be doing it again they said it was flat and fast?, there was plenty of drags and a tough sea breeze and €20 pricey
