The Bilboa AC 'Ger Mullane' Memorial 10 km Road Race takes place next Friday evening at 8pm in Cappamore in East Limerick. This is a few kms North of the N24 Limerick to Tipperary main road.The information from the flyer is as follows...
8th Annual Bilboa 10km road race and non-competitive walk will take place on Friday 20th June at Bilboa, Cappamore, Co.Limerick. Race at 8pm, walk at 7:30pm.
Changing, showers and refreshments at Bilboa AC clubhouse (...signposted from Cappamore, Doon Rearcross and Pallasgreen).
Prizes in all categories...Men, Women, Masters, Junior. Prize for Race record. Spot prizes for walkers & runners.
Entry fee...€10. Walkers & Juniors...€5.

Hi, I'm just wondering if anybody knows of any running events going on in Limerick over the next few months (outside of the ladies mini marathon). There is a notable absense of events in the limerick area, for a place that is supposed to be a centre of sport, the road running or trail running events seem to be few and far between. Can anybody tell me am I missing out on these events or are they simply not there?
Would love any info people have on this.
