This 5 km road race takes place at 2:30pm in the village of Ballingarry near Killenaule in the South East of Tipperary. With the opening of the new section of the N8 road between Mitchelstown and Cashel, this area is now a lot easier to get to especially to any runners coming from the South. Here is some more info...

Note that on Saturday, RTE issued the following..."In Tipperary, a bridge in Ballynunty is impassable. There is flooding in Killenaule and also between Fethard and Cashel. "
