Clonmel 4 km race series...Every Wed...8th Jan to 12th Feb

Clonmel AC are organising a series of 4 km races every Wednesday evening from the 8th of January to the 19th of February.

Please note that as the race on the 5th of February was cancelled due to weather conditions, this race has been rescheduled for the 19th of February.

Some notes from the organisers....This very popular series gets underway on January 8th, at 7pm and continues every Wednesday night up to and including Wednesday 12th February which is our Charity Run. Entries will be taken at the Brothers of Charity Car park from 6.15pm onwards and all participants must wear a high Viz top. This is an ideal event to get you started for 2014 as the course is relatively flat and with over 100 participants taking part you will have plenty of company on the route. In a recent survey in England 39% of the runners surveyed only took up running when they were between 25 and 34 years of age, never too late.
