Tipperary...Results of the Clonmel 4k race - Wed 10th Dec 2014

The final race in the very popular Clonmel 4k series was on Wednesday the 10th of Dec 2014.

From Clonmel AC....The curtain came down on a very successful 4k series with the 6th and final race which attracted an entry of 111 athletes. The athletes had to contend with dry but blustery conditions. Competition was keen with Michael Ryan coming home a clear winner in 14 mins 45 secs with Joey Feery 2nd in 14 mins 51 secs with Gary Grant 3rd in 15 mins 10 secs. The top three women were Clare Annan 15 mins 50 secs, 2nd Angela McCann 17 mins 47 secs and 3rd Yvonne O Connor in 17 mins 49 secs. The Club would like to thank the Brothers of Charity, Civil Defence, our many stewards and helpers who helped to make this series our most successful Pre Christmas series ever.
