In contrast to a lot of other recent races, the sunshine was out in the Kingdom for this marathon and half-marathon in Killarney on Saturday the 14th of May. The numbers were up this year in comparison to previous years so not all races in Kerry are on a downward path.

I ran the half marathon here yesterday. Very good route and tough enough too. Well recommended. No point in bringing a garmin though it won't work best to use a stopwatch. Just one tip to the water stewards, have tables laid out with the water pre-poured into the cups. It helps the runners and prevents stewards from having to run back and forth between stations. I hope to get back next year
A lot of people in wrong age groups.
