The 2018 Great Limerick Run was held this year on Sunday the 6th of May and just over 7,000 runners took part across the three events.
In the full marathon, there were just over 700 finishers and this is pretty much in line with the average number over the last few years.

In the half-marathon event, there was almost 2000 runners which is a change from the decline in the last two years.

Half-Marathon Results
In the 6 mile event, there was over 4,200 finishers which is pretty much the same as last year. As you can see, this halts the previous three year decline. The numbers are still well down on the peak back in 2014 but that was a time when a lot of races in Munster peaked. By and large, numbers for most races in Munster are down a bit since then.
