Races in Munster...Fri 15th-Sun 17th Apr 2011

Here is a quick run down of the events coming up next weekend....

Fri 15th Apr....
Waterford.....The Marine Climb 6 Mile Road Race....This starts in the town of Dungarvan at 7pm. Entry fee is €8. It goes from the town up to the Marine Bar which is up on a hill on the Dungarvan to Youghal/Cork road. More details HERE

Sat 16th Apr....

Kerry.......The Kerry Athletics Board are organising the Run Kerry Run 5 km race in Killarney. The entry fee is €10 and the race starts at 11am. You can enter at the Old Monastry which is next to the large catheral on the western side of the town.

Clare.....Johnny Mc Mahon Healthy Heart 10k .....Saturday, 16 April 2011...Charity Fun Run and Walk - Optional 3.5k Walk.....at Kilmaley School......12 noon start (entries taken on the day up to 11.30am).....NO ENTRY FEE - Donations in lieu to Kilmaley Voluntary Housing Association & The Ray of Hope Hospice Jinja, Uganda......Contact: Terry Hennessy 087 9091436 healtyheart10k@gmail.com

Sun 17th Apr 2011....
Tipperary......The Tipperary AAI Senior Road Championships will take place in Two Mile Borris at 12 noon.

Cork.......There are 2 events  in the county of Cork. The Great Island 10 Mile Road Race starts in Cobh at 1pm and should attract several hundred runners. All proceeds go to the Irish Cancer Society. The 2nd event in the evening is a mountain race in Millstreet in NW Cork. More info on the Running in Cork website.

Clare...Healthy Heart 10k - Sat 17th April 2010

Clare......There is a 10k fun fun race, and a 3.5k at Kilmaley, Co Clare, at 12noon.

Entry fee: €15 for adults, and €5 for children, at Kilmaley School, Co Clare.
AAI Permit

The Healthy Heart 10k Charity Fun Walk & Road Race will take place on Sat April 17th starting at 12 noon at Kilmaley School and there will be an option of taking a 3.5k walk and fun run and all proceeds raised will go towards the Ray of Hope Hospice Jinja in Uganda & to KilmaleyVoluntary Housing Ass.
