The annual Bruff 5 mile road race was held on Friday the 29th of June 2018 and 131 runners took part. That's a 25% reduction on 2017 and as can be seen from the chart above, there has been a big drop since 2016.
Perhaps another sign that the running boom is beginning to fizzle out a bit?

I'd love to know the number of races there are in Munster over the years sanctioned and non sanctioned?
No panic with drop off this year - the heat would have decided against for a good few maybes.
Event is a good one and I'm sure will rise again next year.
