A total of 214 runners turned out for this hilly 6 mile course in Dungarvan. For the first 2.5 miles, it's just like a normal road race but then the route changed to a slow but steady climb of about 3 miles. Not a course for fast times but it was still a unique race in it's own way. This was no 5k sprint. It was a good test of stamina and I'm sure it will attract more runners in future.

Waterford...Results of the Marine Climb - 17th Apr 2009
A total of 214 runners turned out for this hilly 6 mile course in Dungarvan.
