As a 1st-timer at the Brickey 5mile yesterday, just a couple of quick comments : An "interesting" course - road, grass, mud, a stiff headwind in places,and a handy enough climb. Thoroughly enjoyable. 1 suggestion to the organisers : 2 and 3 mile markers would be useful along the canal section for runners tracking their time. Great venue, great organisation, superb changing facilities, and tea and biscuits afterwards. I will be back in 2012.
