The heat was unreal at the Dromcollogher race last night. There was a great atmosphere at it, and a great buzz in the square at the finish line. Fair play to a number of locals out on the route who provided water by filling cups with their garden hoses. Great idea !
The local ladies had great grub in the community hall afterwards.
A well-organised, great little race.
The conditions last evening for the race of 28/29 degrees would have added 1 to 2 mins on to each time. It was tough going out there. Very well organised race with plenty of water during and after the race. The showers in the gaa were welcome, a great spread of food afterwards. Well done to all involved.
