Notice...Old Abbey 5 km road race, Waterfall, Cork - Sun 30th June 2013

This 5k road race takes place to the south-west of Cork City on Sunday, the 30th of June at 7pm.

The 5 km route for the race goes from Waterfall to Goggins Hill. As can be seen from the map, the race is only a few miles to the South-West of Cork City.

The registration is in Goggins Hill with a bus taking runners to the start line in Waterfall.

The easiest way to get to Goggins Hill from the city is via Waterfall....

The turn off for Waterfall is about 300m north of the Bandon Road Roundabout. If you are coming from the direction of CUH then take the right at the fork in the road...

About 2.5 miles beyond Waterfall, you take a left at a crossroads. Gogginshill National School is just a short distance down this road on the right.
